The 0BF sport rear diff was optional on the B8.0 and the B8.5 S4. So any specific S4 you're looking at may or may not have it. If it doesn't, it'll have the 0BC open rear diff. The front diff is always an open diff. The center diff is always going to be a Torsen, not a Crown.

I use auto and comfort all the time highway cruising and there is a definite noticeable difference between them, mainly in steering effort and ride stiffness. For me the car almost feels k04ZD.
